Love her or hate her, Margaret Thatcher was a hugely powerful woman and one of the longest serving British Prime Ministers in history. We’re not here to be a Wikipedia-like fact source though, we’re here to offer you an incredible opportunity to own a little piece of modern history.
This is a stunning piece of original work by the genius mosaic artist, Ed Chapman. Chapman’s complex mosaic work is sold worldwide and highly sought after amongst art collectors at all levels. At the first opportunity to get hold of a Chapman piece for our collection, we grabbed it with both hands – probably just as The Right Honourable Baroness did with the throats of dissenting colleagues back in the day!
Those cynics out there might think that the timing of our announcement may have something to do with the release of the cinematic blockbuster “The Iron Lady,” starring Meryl Streep and Richard E. Grant amongst many others! It’s due for release on the 6th of January, 2012 and arriving at a cinema near you shortly thereafter in the new year – clearly one to watch if only because a little controversy is highly anticipated. But of course, this is a pure coincidence in timing with our release of Ed Chapman’s piece.
It is available for purchase, and we do expect it to be snapped up very quickly, so if you want a chance to marvel at Ed’s stunning craftsmanship, then we advise either visiting the showcase as soon as possible, or calling us to book at Home View appointment.
You can arrange a Home View to see this piece, or any of the other artwork in our collection, in the comfort of your own home without any obligation or cost at all.
