Nadeem is a humble London based artist, born in Epsom in 1973, working primarily in oils and pastels. His work has a distinctively illustrative feel, drawing on his observations of everyday life and adorned with inspiration from deep thought, feeling and emotion. His characters are reflective of human life, and his compositions feel carefully planned and considered.
Perhaps it’s no surprise that his early years were spent studying graphics and illustration at Brighton University, and working as an apprentice scenic painter on major film productions like The Avengers, Love Actually, The Bourne Supremacy, About A Boy and James Bond – Die Another Day.
With a real mastery of light, his emotive pieces often feature stark contrast, creating a powerful atmospheric effect – with his trademark rounded character forms giving us a little insight into the human spirit.
